Driver’s Condition
As it turned out, the man had suffered a stroke, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle and accelerate unexpectedly. He was taken to the hospital where he received necessary assistance. According to a fire department representative, “a medical incident caused the loss of control, after which the car flew onto the shoulder, first crossing the westbound and then the eastbound lanes, and landed on the eastern side”.
