Lotus has released a limited series Emira Clark Edition in honor of the legendary racer Jim Clark. This model pays tribute to the 1965 Indianapolis 500 winner and Formula 1 champion.
Externally, the car is inspired by the Lotus Type 38, on which Clark won races. The body is finished in Clark Racing Green with a black roof, silver mirrors, and a yellow racing stripe.
Additional details include a hand-painted yellow pinstripe, yellow exhaust tips, special Clark Edition badges, and an aluminum fuel cap with a blue anodized center.
The interior features an asymmetric design: the driver’s seat is upholstered in red leather and Alcantara, while the passenger seat is black. The steering wheel and instrument panel have red accents, and the wooden gear shift knob is reminiscent of a retro style.
Clark’s autograph is placed on the dashboard, and the seats feature a plaque with his 1965 achievements. The sills are adorned with carbon fiber with the inscription “1 of 60”.
Under the hood is a 3.5-liter supercharged engine with 400 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.2 seconds, and the top speed is 290 km/h.
Production is limited to 60 units, which will be available in selected countries. The price in the UK starts from £115,000, and in Germany from €140,000.
