2026 Lotus Emira Updates

Lotus is expanding the Emira lineup for 2026 by adding a base model and an upgraded V6 SE version. The new base Turbo model is equipped with a 2.0-liter engine producing 360 hp, which accelerates the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. The V6 SE model received a revised suspension, improved handling, and red brake calipers on 20-inch wheels.

The V6 SE version is powered by a 3.5-liter engine producing 400 hp, paired with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission. This allows the car to reach 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.

“The updated suspension with optimized dampers provides sharper handling and increased comfort,” the manufacturer reports.

Availability and New Features

The base Turbo model starts from £79,500 in the UK and €97,500 in Germany. It is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch multimedia system, and various driver assistance systems. The V6 SE version offers a wide range of personalization options, including 15 paint choices and 7 interior options.

Among other updates for 2026 are an improved cooling system, a recalibrated climate control, and an updated eight-speed transmission with faster shifts. Two new colors have also been added — EOS Green and Purple Haze metallic.

The updates for the Emira show that Lotus continues to refine its model, focusing on both performance and comfort. The V6 SE version is particularly noteworthy, combining power with more precise handling, making it an interesting option for sports car enthusiasts.
