Although the best engines of 2020 are still German. The winner was the 3.0-liter 387-horsepower turbo-six from the BMW M340i, and the second place went to the 367-horsepower 3.0-liter turbo engine of the Mercedes GLE 450, supplemented with a 22-horsepower hybrid system. Third place went to the 3.0-liter naturally aspirated V6 Pentastar with 309 hp and the eTorque hybrid system.
