Rare Lamborghini Reventon Roadster up for auction
Lamborghini is known for its limited series of exclusive cars, such as the Sian, Centenario, and Veneno. However, in the 2000s, the Reventon stood out, produced as a coupe (20 units) and a roadster (15 units). Next month, one of these rare roadsters will be sold at an RM Sotheby’s auction in Milan.
The car is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 engine from the Murcielago LP 670-4 SV. Its design is inspired by the F-22 Raptor fighter jet, and the interior features black leather, gray Alcantara, and carbon fiber. This unit was delivered to Switzerland in 2010 and has been in Germany since 2018.
Despite a mileage of only 4102 km and its status as an iconic model, the Reventon Roadster has not significantly appreciated in value. If its price was $2.1 million in 2010, it may now sell for $650 thousand less.
Although the price of this model has not soared to expected heights, it remains a unique piece for collectors. Its design and limited production make the Reventon Roadster one of Lamborghini’s most striking creations.
