Just the Paint Job on This Exclusive Porsche Costs More Than Your Car

Rare Singer DLS Could Break Records at Auction

At first glance, the Singer DLS might seem like a regular Porsche 911 modification, but in reality, it is a completely reworked, ultra-lightweight sports car with incredible attention to detail. Its cost reaches supercar levels, and one example is expected to sell for $3.2 million at an upcoming auction.

This particular specimen, known as the ‘Mame Commission,’ was completed in August 2022 and has only been driven 250 miles. Its owner was likely waiting for just such a moment, as DLS prices have skyrocketed. In the US, the model’s base price is $1.8 million, and recent sales confirm its collectible value.

Exterior and Interior Details

The car is painted in Fluid Silver with an additional protective coating, features carbon fiber elements, and 18-inch Fuchs-style wheels. Its design includes widened wheel arches, a large spoiler, and modern LED lights.

This is not just a restomod, but a true automotive work of art, created with incredible precision.

The interior is finished in olive-green suede with black accents and carbon fiber inserts. Among the features are a $10,000 X-brace, colored seatbelts, and a wooden gear shift knob.

Technical Features

The heart of the DLS is a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated boxer engine from Williams Advanced Engineering, producing 500 hp. It is complemented by an exhaust system made of Inconel and titanium and a 6-speed manual transmission. This is not just nostalgia for a classic, but a demonstration of modern capabilities based on the legendary Porsche platform.

This example is expected to attract the attention of collectors not only because of its rarity but also due to its perfect condition and unique options. The market shows that such cars are becoming investment objects, and their value continues to grow.
