In the USA, the Barrett-Jackson auction features a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. It may not seem like a particularly rare car, but there will be a fierce battle for it, as it was previously owned by Bruce Willis.
The Die Hard star decided to buy a Chevrolet 3100 in 1990, but the stock model’s specifications did not satisfy him, so the actor decided to modify the pickup. Under the hood appeared a 5.7-liter V8 from a Corvette with a chrome cylinder head and custom dual exhaust.
Also installed were a reinforced 4-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
Modern disc brakes were also added.

The exterior of the Chevrolet 3100 remained original, but the interior was reupholstered in expensive leather. New power seats, air conditioning, and a powerful audio system were installed.
Bruce Willis loved the Chevrolet pickup and drove it for almost 25 years until he sold it to a friend in 2014. The car was well maintained and is in excellent condition.
