Mansory presents a unique Rolls-Royce Spectre
The Mansory atelier is known for its bold and often extravagant modifications of premium automobiles. Their latest work based on the Rolls-Royce Spectre electric car, named the Equista Linea d’Oro, is no exception. This project continues the company’s signature style, where the main accents are real gold and carbon.
Exterior: Carbon and Gold
The car’s exterior has been radically changed. The radiator grille and the iconic “Spirit of Ecstasy” hood ornament are made of transparent gold. The hood, front fenders, and other body elements are crafted from forged carbon fiber with gold flake inclusions. The door handles, window surrounds, and the line running along the entire side are coated in gold paint.
Mansory added external speakers in case you thought this electric car wasn’t loud enough.
Carbon parts with gold accents are also present on the sills, around the rear lights, in the diffuser, and on the spoiler. The car received new 24-inch alloy wheels, also with a gold coating.
Luxurious Interior
The car’s interior fully matches the exterior extravagance. The seats are upholstered in premium-quality white leather with gold stitching and piping. Additional details, such as seatbelts, are also executed in white.
The dashboard, center tunnel, and steering wheel are adorned with carbon fiber and gold inserts. Even the speaker grilles, switches, buttons, and door-mounted umbrella handles feature gold plating, creating an effect of total luxury.
Technical Features
Since the Rolls-Royce Spectre is a fully electric vehicle, the tuners did not interfere with its powertrain—the battery and electric motors. However, Mansory found a way to give the car a “voice.”
Special speakers installed under the rear bumper simulate the sound of an internal combustion engine. This detail is intended for those who miss the acoustics of traditional cars.
Such Mansory projects always evoke a polarizing reaction. On one hand, it is an undeniable demonstration of craftsmanship and the use of the most expensive materials, elevating status to an even higher level. On the other hand, such a concentration of shiny details can be perceived as excess. However, it is precisely this ability to generate discussion and emotions, regardless of their nature, that makes Mansory one of the most famous names in the world of automotive tuning. Their works essentially become moving art objects that transcend the conventional notion of a car as a mere means of transportation.
