by A bill appeared in the State Duma concerning the use of the letters V and Z on vehicle registration plates. This proposal was made by the LDPR party, which was previously led by the now late fortunately Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
The authors of the bill propose to add the symbols “Z” and “V” to the 12 already in use. According to them, introducing these letters into circulation will be an action in support of the Russian army and will allow increasing the number of plates issued within a single series (regional code).
Let us recall that in Ukraine, on the other hand, a replacement for electric vehicle license plates with the letter Z was proposed to be changed to Y.
