Exclusive Maserati models presented in Modena
Maserati introduced unique versions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio during the Meccanica Lirica event in Modena. These cars received individual styling and an updated exhaust system, designed to create a rich and resonant sound. The event also marked the return of production of these models to the historic Maserati factory in Modena, where they will now be produced alongside the MC20 supercar.
Technical updates and sound
Both models are based on the Trofeo trim with a bi-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 542 hp. Maserati engineers worked on improving the sound of the Nettuno engine, keeping it within homologation standards. Changes include new software for valve control, different sound tones depending on the driving mode, as well as special exhaust tips with metal coating.
Exterior and individual details
The cars received unique styling from the Maserati Officine Fuoriserie department. The GranTurismo is finished in a rich red shade Rosso Velluto, while the GranCabrio is painted in a champagne color Oro Lirico. Both cars are fitted with 21-inch black Crio wheels with diamond-cut detailing in a Pale Gold matte finish. The Trident emblems are executed in gold, and the model badges have a White Gold matte finish for the GranTurismo and Rosso Velluto Matte for the GranCabrio.
Luxury in the interior
The interior of both models combines burgundy leather with Nude Alcantara, dark burgundy stitching, and gold chrome accents. Additionally, there are inserts of natural wood painted red and a “Creata a Modena” plaque on the driver’s door panel. The cars are also equipped with individual wool covers.
Special Meccanica Lirica package
Maserati also introduced the Meccanica Lirica package, which offers individual design elements from the unique models for standard versions of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio, but without the updated exhaust system. The package includes Crio wheels, White Gold matte badges, special exhaust tips, and Rosso Velluto or Oro Lirico paint options. The interior adds burgundy leather, Nude Alcantara, a “Creata a Modena” plaque, as well as black finishing for the steering wheel, seat belts, headlining, and floor mats.
Possibilities for electric versions
The company is also open to installing the Meccanica Lirica package on the fully electric Folgore versions, excluding the exhaust pipes and alloy wheels. The electric Folgore models remain the most powerful in the GranTurismo and GranCabrio lineup, with three electric motors producing a combined 818 hp.

These events highlight Maserati’s growing attention to individualization and recreating an emotional connection with drivers through unique design and sound. The move of production to Modena also testifies to the brand’s strategy to focus on historical roots and improve production quality. The introduction of the Meccanica Lirica package for standard models allows more customers to obtain elements of exclusive style, which may positively impact sales and brand loyalty.
