2026 Honda N-One Model Update
Although the electric versions N-One e: and the more powerful Super-One attract more attention in Honda’s kei-car lineup, the modest gasoline-powered N-One model is not yet ready to surrender its position. The Japanese manufacturer has introduced updates for 2026, adding new features and a special edition.
Technical Improvements
The current generation N-One debuted in 2020 and received a minor refresh in 2023. This latest updated version has received a 7-inch digital instrument cluster instead of the old analog system, a modern two-spoke steering wheel, and front parking sensors as standard equipment for all versions.
RS Sport Version
Among the entire lineup, the N-One RS model remains the most vibrant. It is the only version offered with a six-speed manual transmission, unlike the CVT installed in other trim levels.
Under the short hood remains the familiar 660cc turbocharged three-cylinder engine, which produces 63 horsepower and sends power exclusively to the front wheels. An all-wheel-drive version for this model is not provided, which is part of its straightforward appeal.
Exterior and Design
The RS continues to look the part, featuring a honeycomb-shaped grille with an RS emblem, a black front spoiler, rear spoiler, and 15-inch alloy wheels now available in white, reminiscent of the spirit of the old Civic Type R. Buyers can choose from Platinum White Pearl, Frame Red, or Crystal Black Pearl, each paired with a contrasting black roof that neatly ties the design together.
Sport Version Interior
Inside, the RS maintains its sporty character thanks to carbon fiber-like trim elements, special graphics for the digital instrument cluster, and Ultrasuede upholstery with red stitching and embroidered RS logos.
Premium Trim
The car in the high-end Premium Tourer trim, available only with an automatic transmission, has also received an updated look with 15-inch Berlina Black wheels, a rear spoiler, black chrome accents, and Prime Smooth seat upholstery.
Craft Style Special Edition
The true novelty for 2026 is the Craft Style special edition. Honda claims it was inspired by a “Scandinavian worldview.” Built on the base Original trim, it received a chrome grille and white accents on the mirrors, door handles, and wheel caps. The color selection is limited to Seabed Blue Pearl, Fjord Mist Pearl, and Premium Ivory Pearl II.
Inside, the main highlight is the wood-like dashboard trim, which harmoniously combines with Taupe-colored seat upholstery and Platinum White for the heated seats.
Pricing Policy
Prices in Japan start from 1,767,700 yen (approximately $11,200), with all-wheel-drive versions costing an additional 145,200 yen ($920). Craft Style starts from 1,881,000 yen ($12,000), while the sportier RS with a manual transmission tops the lineup at 2,278,100 yen ($14,500).
These updates demonstrate that Honda continues to refine its traditional models despite the growing popularity of electric vehicles. The company finds a balance between innovation and preserving classic characteristics, making the N-One an attractive choice for urban environments where compact size and efficiency remain key advantages.
