The new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is a plug-in hybrid, and a very powerful one at that. The 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo and electric motor together deliver 831 hp and provide a huge torque of 1400 Nm. This is significantly more than the main competitor Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid.
Acceleration to hundreds takes 2.9 s, and to 200 km/h – less than 10 s. The top speed is limited to 316 km/h. At the same time, the average fuel consumption of the hybrid is only 8.6 l/100 km, and on electric traction, you can drive 12 km.
