Updated Maybach S-Class: Even More Technology and Luxury
Maybach has introduced an updated version of its flagship S-Class sedan, which has gained even more advanced technologies, lighting, and personalization options. This car, built on the basis of the Mercedes S-Class, takes the concept of luxury to a completely new level.
Exterior: Lighting Effects and Unique Details
External changes may not seem so radical, but the details are impressive. The radiator grille has become larger, and the light signatures more complex. Customers can now order illuminated emblems, a light surround for the grille, and even an illuminated hood ornament in some markets. The headlights and rear lights have also received unique graphics in the form of the Maybach three-pointed star.
Perhaps the most impressive new feature is the forged wheels with a floating Mercedes star in the center. Regardless of the wheel’s rotation speed, the star always remains in a vertical position.
Some wheel variants can also be ordered with a mirror-chrome finish, further emphasizing the model’s exclusivity.
Interior: A Private Lounge on Wheels
The car’s interior has been transformed into a true private lounge zone. The Superscreen system now works with graphics developed specifically for Maybach. New options for wood trims and ambient lighting themes have been added. For those seeking an alternative view of luxury, a leather-free interior executed from textile and synthetic materials is offered.
Artificial intelligence, running on the latest version of the MB.OS operating system, is a key feature. The car understands natural language and can interact with Microsoft, Google, and other cloud service tools. The AI can suggest routes based on the driver’s habits, adaptively respond to context, and even automatically adjust the climate control by analyzing behavior or tone of voice.

Rear Passenger Comfort and Powertrains
The true Maybach experience unfolds in the rear seat. Automatic comfort doors open and close at the push of a button, passenger seats transform like in airplanes, and the center console houses silver-plated champagne flutes next to a bottle-cooling compartment.
The suspension, borrowed from the new S-Class, not only reacts to road imperfections but is also capable of “remembering” their location using cameras and sensors to prepare for them in advance on the next pass.
Wide Range of Powertrains
Customers are offered new hybrid six- and eight-cylinder engines, and in some markets, an optional V12 engine.
The picture is completed by the virtually limitless MANUFAKTUR personalization program, which allows for the creation of a truly unique car.
The Maybach S-Class update demonstrates that luxury in the automotive industry is increasingly defined not by materials, but by digital technologies and personalized experience. The emphasis on artificial intelligence that analyzes behavior and systems that create the image of a “supercomputer on wheels” points to a clear trend: the future of the premium segment lies in the deep integration of the car into the owner’s digital life. At the same time, traditional status attributes, such as the V12 engine or silver-plated flutes, remain an important part of the image, forming a unique symbiosis of classic and innovation.
