Road conflicts are always dangerous, but they are especially risky when one of the parties is on a motorcycle. This is exactly what happened on May 5th around 6:15 AM in Beaverton, Oregon. The footage shows a Kia Carnival minivan intentionally pushing the motorcyclist off the road before fleeing the scene.
The incident occurred on Highway 26, and the dashcam video captures the final moments of the altercation. In the frames, the motorcyclist and the Kia driver are moving parallel in the first and second lanes. The motorcyclist is gesturing towards the minivan’s open window, with both vehicles traveling at the same speed.
Suddenly, the Kia driver sharply changes trajectory to the right, hitting the motorcyclist and pushing him from the second lane into the third. Only after the collision does the minivan driver correct his course, moving into the third lane. The motorcyclist is thrown onto the shoulder where he falls. Meanwhile, the Kia returns to the first lane and accelerates, leaving the scene.
According to Beaverton Police, the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. Law enforcement describes the Kia driver as a man aged 30-40 with a black beard. His whereabouts remain unknown, and police are asking for the public’s help. Witnesses to the incident are asked to call 971-253-9710.

Users on the police department’s Facebook page claim that the Kia driver cut off the motorcyclist multiple times before the collision. One witness described the events as follows: “The minivan almost hit the motorcycle earlier while changing lanes. The motorcyclist, being behind, moved to the middle lane, made an obscene gesture, and exchanged words with the Kia driver through the open window. Then the minivan tried to run him over.”
Although the exact circumstances of the incident are still under investigation, one thing is clear – road rage is never justified. When police find the Kia driver, he will face serious charges that could change his life forever.
