Serious Deer-Motorcycle Accident
A motorcyclist in the United States collided with a deer while riding on a mountain road but remained unharmed thanks to the weight of his Harley-Davidson. The incident occurred on June 6th near the city of Galett, Wyoming. A camera on the motorcycle of the victim’s friend captured the moment when a young deer ran out onto the road right in front of Kyle Hamilton’s motorcycle.
According to Hamilton, he was traveling at a speed of about 55 mph and did not have time to react to the animal. After the collision, he was able to maintain balance, but his friend, who was riding behind, fell off his motorcycle. Fortunately, both participants in the incident did not sustain serious injuries.
Consequences of the Collision
The front part of the 2023 Harley-Davidson Street Glide motorcycle sustained significant damage. Hamilton will have to either repair the vehicle or buy a new one. It is worth noting that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet, which could have led to tragic consequences in the event of a fall.
This case once again reminds us of the danger of encountering wild animals on the road, especially in mountainous areas.
