We guarantee you’ve never seen a Mercedes like this before

Unique Mercedes-Benz in Batmobile style

This unusual project cost the buyer $270,000. The base was a Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG, which was then completely overhauled. The conversion expenses amounted to approximately $285,000, excluding the cost of the original car.

Technical features and design

Unlike other Batmobile replicas, this model has its own unique design. The body is made of lightweight composite materials, and the 22.5-inch wheels are wrapped in off-road tires. Among the standout features are scissor doors, massive air intakes, and functional side skirts.

SBX Cars, which handled the sale of this car, did not disclose how long the build took, but the process was likely very time-consuming.

The interior retained some elements of the original Mercedes but received an updated multimedia system and a new steering wheel. Under the hood is a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine producing 493 horsepower.

Although the seller claims the car is road-legal, its legal status is likely restricted to the UAE, where it was purchased. Therefore, its use in other countries may raise legal questions.

This project demonstrates how a classic car can be combined with a futuristic design to create something truly unique. While the cost and complexity of the build make it unattainable for most, it remains a fascinating example of automotive tuning.
