A whole collection of rare classic Chevrolet Corvettes is being sold in the USA. All the cars are seriously damaged, and some of them are beyond restoration. This is reported by Focus.

Six Chevrolet Corvettes from different years of production are up for sale at the famous Copart used car auction, known for selling so-called “wrecks” from the USA. The condition of the cars leaves much to be desired.
The vintage Chevrolet Corvettes became victims of Hurricane “Ian,” which swept through Florida in September. Thousands of cars were flooded, including expensive supercars.
The Chevrolet Corvette especially suffered in this regard because these cars have fiberglass bodies. On one hand, it does not rust, but on the other, it is much more fragile than metal.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1966 is particularly damaged—its body is almost completely destroyed and cannot be restored. The Corvette 1956 has damaged wings, missing hood, and trunk. The convertibles also have torn soft tops, leading to water entering the interior.

The Chevrolet Corvette coupe 1966 is less damaged. The 1959 model is in tolerable condition—the convertible has only a flooded interior and possible engine repair needed. The newest Chevrolet Corvette 1995 appears intact, but its interior and engine compartment are covered in a layer of silt.
