In Switzerland, six confiscated hypercars have been put up for auction. The cars are expected to fetch more than 10 million euros.
Interestingly, all these cars belonged to Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo – the son of the former president of Equatorial Guinea. We have already written about his collection which was confiscated due to a money laundering case.
In total, from 2012 to 2016, the police confiscated 25 elite cars from the president’s son, while only the first batch will go under the hammer.
The most expensive is the Lamborghini Veneno roadster with just 320 km driven, priced at 5 million euros.
The 1360-horsepower Koenigsegg One:1 is expected to fetch 2 million euros. There are only six of these cars in existence. Meanwhile, the Bugatti Veyron Atlantic is valued at just 600,000 euros. Also up for sale are the Aston Martin One-77, Ferrari LaFerrari, and McLaren P1.
