A rare 1975 Lamborghini Countach LP400 coupe will be sold at the Gooding & Company auction. The iconic Lamborghini supercar is expected to fetch around a million dollars.
Such a high price is explained by the fact that this is a rare first-series model. Only 158 of these cars were assembled, and they have their own feature – a periscope. The original device improves rear visibility from the cabin mirror, as the rear window of the coupe is very small.
The Lamborghini Countach supercar is equipped with a 4.0-liter V12 producing 375 hp and is capable of reaching 290 km/h. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes about 5 seconds.
The first owner of the coupe was a prince from Saudi Arabia. The car then changed hands several times and underwent restoration.
