In the USA, a Lamborghini Diablo from 1997 was put up for auction at Barrett-Jackson. The supercar could fetch a considerable sum, as its first owner was former US president Donald Trump. This was reported by Focus. Donald Trump prefers limousines, but in 1997 he decided to buy a Lamborghini Diablo. He chose the VT Roadster version with a removable roof, which was made to Trump’s individual order. The car has a special blue color (which was not in the Lamborghini palette) and a commemorative plaque with the inscription Donald Trump 1997 Diablo on the body. The interior of the Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster is decorated with black and white leather. Trump’s car features a spoiler, climate control, and an Alpine audio system. The Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster is equipped with a 5.7-liter V12 engine producing 492 hp and a 5-speed manual transmission. The all-wheel-drive convertible is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 325 km/h. Donald Trump owned the Lamborghini Diablo until the summer of 2002, and then the car changed hands twice. Trump’s car is well preserved, with a mileage of 40,000 km.
