Recently, information appeared in the media that the Security Service of NJSC ‘Naftogaz of Ukraine’ has increased the security measures of the company’s head, Andriy Kobolyev. In this regard, the company head was transferred to an armored car, and TopZhyr found out what kind of armored vehicle it is.
This is the new Cadillac Escalade B6 Guard (license plate AA3578TK, VIN: 1GYS4CKJ4JR123439, 6.2L V8 16V), which was purchased in June and registered on 03.07.2018 to the company LLC ‘UTN-Bezpazka’. It is indirectly owned by the state ‘Uktransnafta’ through LLC ‘Corporate Fund ‘Uktransnafta’.
On the American website carsdesk.com, it can be noted that this car was sold by the dealer Peterson Chevrolet Buick Cadillac (state of Idaho) for $88,490, but this refers to the unarmored version. As for the armored Escalade with protection level B6, such a car in the States costs about 200-250 thousand dollars. And here’s where the question arises – interestingly, what was the final (official) sum of the transaction in Ukraine?
