At the annual press club, Nokian Tyres introduced the new director of the Ukrainian representative office

The traditional Nokian Tyres press club was held, during which representatives of leading Ukrainian media were introduced to the new head of the Ukrainian representative office LLC “Nokian Tyres.” From January 1, 2019, the current director Oleksandr Ostapenko will be replaced by Konstantin Anisimov, who currently holds the position of sales director at the company. Thanks to 20 years of experience in leadership positions in large international companies in the field of construction materials and equipment and over 10 years of experience, Konstantin Anisimov understands the principles of operation and development of international players in the Ukrainian market very well. Having joined Nokian Tyres in October 2017, he worked with the team to expand the business, improve service quality, and collaborate with partners. The active lifestyle of the new head of the representative and his passion for several sports resonate with the Finnish philosophy of an eco-friendly and sporty lifestyle. “I know the Ukrainian market very well and understand what the domestic consumer needs.

At the same time, I have extensive experience working in foreign companies; in particular, for several years I headed the representative offices of Scandinavian companies Lindab Building Systems (Sweden) and KONE (Finland) in Ukraine. I spent more than eight years as the head of the Austrian corporation Wieneberger, the world’s largest manufacturer of ceramic building materials. Our activities were aimed at spreading European experience and raising product quality standards in the rapidly developing Ukrainian market. Nokian Tyres adheres to a similar business strategy. My principle is not to slow down, to strengthen the company’s image, and, of course, to provide Ukrainian customers with the most reliable and safe Nokian Tyres tires, as well as to offer premium service in the Vianor tire center network!” the new head of LLC “Nokian Tyres” told journalists.

At the 7th press club, leaders of Nokian Tyres in Ukraine shared the results of their work in 2018 and spoke about future plans. In particular, by the end of 11 months of the outgoing year, Nokian Tyres managed to increase net profit and grow global sales, despite the negative impact of currency fluctuations and a decline in car sales in strategically important markets (Sweden, Norway, etc.), with Ukraine being no exception.

The Ukrainian representative office of the company maintained its leading position in the Ukrainian tire market in the outgoing year, presenting a range of new summer and winter tire models. In 2018, Nokian Tyres introduced six new products to the Ukrainian market:

Summer tires

  • Nokian Hakka Black 2
  • Nokian Hakka Black 2 SUV
  • Nokian Hakka Blue 2 SUV

Winter tires

  • Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3
  • Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV
  • Nokian WR SUV 4

The right marketing strategy, a line of new products, and an expansion of services along with the development of the Vianor tire center network allowed the northernmost tire manufacturer to achieve the goals set for 2018. New Year – new goals and ambitious plans!
