An Aventador burned and a Revuelto crashed at the same intersection — the same accident, the same location

Incredible accident involving two supercars

The chances of seeing one flagship Lamborghini in a Texas suburb on an ordinary day are very slim. The chances of seeing two such cars in an accident at the same intersection on a single Monday are a whole different story. Yet, it happened. Photos from the scene show a light blue Aventador S burned to a crisp and a purple Revuelto with serious front-end damage parked nearby.

Details of the incident from the fire department

The Cy-Fair Fire Department reports that when rescuers arrived at the scene, “they found two Lamborghinis that had been in an accident, with one of them on fire.” Whether these two cars collided with each other is currently unknown from the available information.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Texas State Highway 99 feeder road and Jack Road in the Cypress area near Houston. Both drivers got out of their cars on their own. No one was injured — that is the only good news in this story.

Condition of the cars after the accident

The debris documented by first responders shows a dramatic collision. The Aventador S suffered the most: most of its body was burned completely. Firefighters had to cut open the hood, and the only parts that survived are the front bumper and headlights.

The other victim of the accident was a modified Revuelto. This particular example has a color-changing purple finish and sits on special forged wheels. From some angles, the supercar looks almost unscathed, but one photo of the front tells a completely different story. Almost the entire “nose” is gone, and the left front wheel and suspension arm have been pushed into the cabin.

Possible connection to a well-known dealership

The unique specification and a sticker on the windshield suggest that this Revuelto might be linked to IYKYK Garage in Houston, Texas. The shop has not yet commented on the accident on social media, but 16 weeks ago it announced the acquisition of a very similar car in an Instagram post.

Damage estimate and possible causes

The damage assessment is bleak. A used Aventador S currently costs between $420,000 and $500,000 in the US. The Revuelto is valued closer to $600,000–$700,000. Adding these sums, even without considering the cost of tuning, the total damage easily exceeds one million dollars.

Nothing has been reported about the cause of the accident yet, as authorities arrived at the scene when the Aventador was already on fire. Some commenters claim to have seen the Lamborghini duo on the highway together with a red pickup truck that was filming or photographing them. In any case, the good thing is that the drivers are alive to tell the story.

This incident serves as a reminder that even the most expensive and powerful cars are not immune to accidents on the road. Although the exact cause of the collision remains unknown, the fact that both drivers were unharmed is the main takeaway from this event. The cost of the lost supercars, exceeding one million dollars, underscores how fragile the world of luxury can be when chance intervenes. Perhaps this will also serve as a reminder to other owners of exclusive cars about the importance of caution, even when they are simply driving down the road, rather than participating in a photoshoot.
