An exclusive Maybach of a well-known dictator is up for sale

In the Netherlands, a Maybach 57 S Coupe is up for sale. The car itself is very rare, and it has an interesting history. You can buy the Maybach for 795 thousand euros.

Only eight such Maybach coupes were produced, and this car was ordered in 2010 by Muammar Gaddafi. However, the car never reached him – by the time it was assembled, the Libyan dictator had been overthrown and executed. The car was later resold, and its new owner drove only 2300 km in 10 years.

Gaddafi’s car features an exclusive two-tone paint job and the same interior finish. Under the hood, there’s a familiar 630 hp V12 twin-turbo. It accelerates to 100 km/h in about 4.5 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
