In the USA, Elvis Presley’s Mercedes-Benz 600 was put up for auction on Bring a Trailer. The starting price of the car is $185,000.
Elvis, of course, loved Cadillacs the most, but in 1970 he decided to buy a Mercedes 600. Not just one, but two. After the singer’s death, the car was inherited by his friend and exhibited in the Elvis Museum for some time before changing hands.
The current owner purchased the Mercedes 600 in 2002 and restored it, fixing the air suspension, exhaust, and brakes.
The car is equipped with two air conditioners (front and rear), power windows, and a refrigerator. Logos of TCB, the name of Elvis Presley’s group, can be seen everywhere.
The package includes a set of special glasses ordered by the singer.
The Mercedes 600 is equipped with a 6.3-liter V8 engine producing 250 hp and a 4-speed automatic transmission, capable of reaching 200 km/h. The declared mileage of the car is 96,500 km.
