On the Ukrainian New Car Market, BMW and Mercedes Have Taken the Top Spots

In the first month of 2023, the German premium brands BMW and Mercedes, for the first time in Ukraine’s history, have reached the top positions. Moreover, these are the only brands that have shown positive dynamics, and impressive ones at that. Surprisingly, despite the war, Ukrainians buy expensive cars more often than budget ones. This concerns Renault, Kia, and other “popular” brands.

As Ukravtoprom writes, the following brands entered the top ten leaders.

2. Skoda – 235 cars (-16%)
3. Mercedes-Benz – 220 new cars (+45%)
4. BMW – 212 cars (+30%)
5. Volkswagen – 204 cars (-16%)
6. Renault – 191 cars (-79%)
7. Suzuki – 184 units (+16%)
8. Kia – 159 units (-15%)
9. Hyundai – 159 units (-48%)
10. Mazda – 97 units (+45%)
