The long-awaited model of the Italian brand was seen live in Odessa. The MC20 in the sports car’s name symbolizes Maserati Corse 2020, marking a new era for Maserati in racing. Developed at the Maserati Innovation Lab, the MC20 is produced at the factory in Modena.
The first Maserati racing car with the trident in the logo was the Tipo 26, where the number 26 indicated the year of production. The MC20 continues the tradition, becoming the first representative of the company’s new era from Modena. This supercar is a natural descendant of the successful MC12 model, which distinguished itself with its victories in races. In particular, Maserati MC12 won 22 races and earned 14 championship titles in the constructors’, drivers’, and teams’ standings of the FIA GT championship from 2004 to 2010.
As a reminder, Maserati MC20 in Ukraine was spotted earlier in the first half of April 2024 at the customs. As TopGear reported, the MC20 has been in production since 2021 and costs from $220,000 abroad.
