In Transcarpathia, BMW 7 Series turned into a GAZ-21 ‘Volga’ (photo)

In Mizhhirya, Transcarpathian region, a very unusual car was created. In the front, it looks like a GAZ-21 ‘Volga’, and in profile, it looks like a BMW 7 Series sedan from the 90s. This was reported by Focus. The unique project is 70% complete and requires further refinement. The basis is the executive sedan BMW 7 Series E38 from 1998, while the front part donor is the first-generation ‘Volga’. The radiator grille, bumpers, headlights, and taillights are borrowed from the GAZ-21. It can also be seen that the hood, trunk lid, front and rear fenders of the BMW 7 Series have been replaced. The BMW 7 Series interior is unfinished. It is decorated with leather and wood, and the sedan’s equipment includes climate control, power seats, central locking, and ESP. The BMW tuning did not touch the engine – the sedan is equipped with a 3.0-liter 218 hp petrol six-cylinder engine and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The claimed mileage of the car is 254,000 km. The ‘Volga’ clone is valued at $5,000.
