Liberty Walk kit for Challenger makes the body ‘wider’

Liberty Walk presented a dramatic body kit for the Dodge Challenger. This kit includes aggressive fender flares, a special front splitter, and a rear smile-spoiler. LB recommends pairing their body kit with air suspension to achieve maximum visual effect. For most of the decade, Liberty Walk has been making dramatic wide body kits for the Dodge Challenger. Although the American muscle car was replaced with the controversial electric Charger, the Japanese tuner still sells kits for the discontinued model and recently installed one on a Challenger R/T.

So, if you want your Dodge to look as distinct as the Hellcat Widebody but can’t afford it, this option is for you. The kit includes upgrades to the front, sides, and rear of the vehicle. In classic Liberty Walk style, the most obvious changes are the bolt-on fender flares that make the Challenger look much more purposeful and authentically wide. These arches are noticeably wider than the factory Challenger Widebody arches, although they are not painted in the body color but finished in black. This particular Challenger R/T was also equipped with an additional front splitter from Liberty Walk.

Similar to the fender flares, the splitter apparently bolts into the original front bumper and complements the other bold elements. There was also a rear wing added, inspired by the whole blemish shape, completing the exterior changes. To enhance the visual effect of a vehicle equipped with a wide body kit from Liberty Walk, Liberty Walk recommends owners add an air suspension kit, allowing the vehicle’s ride height to drop practically to the floor. Nevertheless, no creation by the Japanese firm would be complete without a set of custom wheels. In this case, 20-inch diameter wheels are used, which are 11 inches wide at the front and 12 inches wide at the rear.

Fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires, they fit perfectly under the arches when the air suspension is lowered. Obviously, driving the Challenger this low is not very practical for everyday use, but it’s perfect when the car is parked in a garage or at a car show.
