Powerful Updated Grenadier from Ineos and Letech
For those who need more than just a regular off-road vehicle, the new version of the Grenadier has received serious updates. Increased ground clearance, portal axles, and a whole set of additional accessories make this model ideal for the most challenging conditions. The modernization was carried out by the German specialist Letech, creating a vehicle capable of overcoming what others cannot.
The idea emerged after a successful concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last year. After high demand from clients, including rescue services and commercial organizations, Ineos and Letech decided to launch a series version.
Technical Features
The original concept was based on the Quartermaster pickup, but now the Grenadier Station Wagon has also received the updates. A key change was the heavy-duty five-link suspension with offset wheels. Together with 37-inch BF Goodrich Mud Terrain tires, the ground clearance increased to 450 mm, and the wading depth — to 1050 mm.
The new configuration provides a “wider track, optimized weight distribution, greater wheel travel, and improved axle articulation,” making the vehicle even more adapted to extreme conditions.
Design and Additional Equipment
Externally, the Grenadier Trialmaster X Letech resembles a “big foot” thanks to wide fenders and 18-inch wheels. Among the additional elements are a winch, LED lights, a roof rack, and side steps. Inside — heated leather seats, a premium audio system, and additional options such as a tire pressure monitoring system.
The engines remain the same — petrol and diesel 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinders. The model is capable of towing up to 3500 kg, and the payload capacity of the Quartermaster pickup reaches 642 kg.
About Letech and Availability
The company Letech from Stuttgart specializes in the restoration of classic off-road vehicles and the development of special versions. Collaboration with Ineos began in 2021, and they now offer series models with their updates. Orders are already being accepted in Germany, and the vehicle will later become available in other countries.
The price of the Station Wagon starts from €170,000, and the pickup will cost an additional €1000 more. This makes the Trialmaster X Letech the most expensive version of the Grenadier to date.
Considering all the updates, this model will become a true tester for those seeking maximum off-road capability and reliability. At the same time, its cost limits the circle of buyers to professional users and enthusiasts of extreme off-roading.
