The most popular BMW M model has received more power

BMW introduced a more powerful version of the i4 M60

BMW has updated its popular i4 M50 model, replacing it with a more powerful M60 version. The new modification received an additional 56 hp, reducing the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h from 3.9 to 3.7 seconds. In addition, updates have been applied to other models of the brand, including the 2 Series and X5M.

The previous i4 M50 version was the first electric car from the M division but couldn’t boast impressive dynamics. The new M60 with 593 hp (601 PS) still lags behind some competitors, such as the Hyundai N or Tesla Model 3 Performance, but it is a noticeable step forward. Engineers have also improved the efficiency of the base eDrive35 and eDrive40 versions by using new semiconductor components, increasing the range on a single charge.

Other updates in the BMW lineup

Among other changes, the base equipment for the 1 Series and 2 Series Gran Coupé has been improved, now featuring heated seats and an alarm system. For the 7 Series and i7 models, security glass and tinting options have been added for greater passenger comfort. A new “Ultimate Package” has also been introduced for the X5M and X6, including carbon elements, a panoramic roof, massage seats, and a powerful audio system.

Now, custom paint for the new BMW can be ordered directly in the main configurator, simplifying the selection process for buyers.

These updates show that BMW continues to adapt its models to modern demands, combining improved performance, efficiency, and comfort. The appearance of a more powerful i4 version is particularly interesting, as it may appeal to electric car enthusiasts who value dynamic driving.
