The most popular Infiniti crossover receives significant updates for 2026

Infiniti introduces the updated QX60

Updated design and technologies

Infiniti has launched a large-scale update program for its vehicle lineup, and the QX60 is the next model to receive updates after the flagship QX80. The crossover, which is the brand’s most popular model, now features an updated grille with illuminated branding, new ‘digital piano’-style daytime running lights, and redesigned 20-inch wheels.

The rear has been simplified—the logo on the tailgate has been removed, the bumper design has been revised, and new colors have been added, including Deep Emerald. The high-end Autograph trim offers a two-tone paint option with a black roof.

Interior and multimedia

The cabin now features new Stone Gray upholstery, while the Autograph version includes designer perforated leather with wood accents. The multimedia system now integrates with Google services, and the Bose audio system has been replaced with more powerful Klipsch options.

“The personalized audio feature allows certain sounds, such as phone calls or navigation prompts, to play only through the driver-focused speakers.”

Safety and specifications

The top trim now comes with the ProPILOT Assist 2.1 system, which enables hands-free driving on compatible highways. New cameras with moving object detection and an ‘invisible hood’ mode have also been added.

The mechanical components remain unchanged—a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 268 hp paired with a 9-speed transmission. Fuel economy reaches up to 28 mpg on the highway. The model can tow up to 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg).

The updated QX60 will begin arriving at U.S. dealerships in the summer of 2026. The vehicle is manufactured in Tennessee, which should help mitigate tariff impacts on the final price. The previous base price was $50,200, but an increase is expected.

The shift to eco-friendly materials in base trims may spark debate—recycled materials now replace leather. However, the company states that the new materials are softer and more durable than traditional synthetic leather.
