New Jeep Compass 4xe for an Active Lifestyle
Jeep has introduced a new version of the Compass 4xe, which is aimed at buyers who lead an active lifestyle. This SUV has received reinforced bumpers, a raised suspension, and an interior designed for use in challenging conditions. Among the main competitors of the model are the Toyota RAV4 Adventure, Honda CR-V Trailsport, and Subaru Forester.
Interior for Real-World Use
The Compass 4xe’s interior is designed with practicality in mind. The manufacturer has used a special fabric with a polyurethane coating, which, according to Jeep, is twice as durable as conventional materials and easier to clean after off-road trips.
Additional benefits include anti-scratch surfaces on the rear seats, which are perfect for transporting pets or gear.
The interior also features additional storage compartments and rubber floor mats that are easy to wash. Visually, the interior is executed in a more utilitarian style with beige accents and red details. Standard equipment includes a 10-inch digital instrument cluster and a 16-inch multimedia system screen.
Off-Road Capabilities
Externally, the Compass 4xe has received updated bumpers with a special coating, additional protective elements, a tow hook, and new 19-inch wheels. The suspension has been raised by 10 mm, improving the breakover angle.
The car is built on the STLA Medium platform, which supports various types of powertrains, including hybrid and electric versions. Although the exact technical specifications for the 4xe have not yet been disclosed, it is known that all versions will receive all-wheel drive and a special off-road mode.
Deliveries in Europe will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, while entry into the American market is delayed due to trade restrictions. In its segment, the Compass 4xe will become an alternative to models such as the RAV4 Adventure or Forester Wilderness.
The updated Compass 4xe demonstrates that Jeep continues to bet on true off-road capabilities, not just on appearance. The approach to the interior is particularly interesting – the manufacturer clearly tried to account for the needs of those who regularly travel beyond paved roads. The model’s success will largely depend on how well it handles competition from already established SUVs.
