TopGir has repeatedly talked about a strange trend before elections in Ukraine. As soon as they approach, wealthy citizens somehow become more eager to spend money on luxurious cars. This past February is yet another confirmation of this. 
While some prepare for elections and search for compromising material on competitors, and others ponder whom to vote for, a third group acquires some of the most expensive cars in the world. Perhaps, in this way, certain individuals are ‘developing budgets’ and/or trying to invest money quickly.
Be that as it may, February turned out to be very successful for representatives of elite automotive brands. Thus, in the last month of winter, two units of the world’s most expensive SUV were sold. We are talking about the Rolls-Royce Cullinan in Ukraine, which can already be seen on our roads. The cost of such a car starts from 12 and a half million hryvnias. 
Speaking of crossovers from well-known manufacturers, one must mention the fastest series-produced crossover, the Lamborghini Urus, of which there are already a couple in Ukraine.
It’s also worth noting that we have very expensive cars that are driven without customs clearance. 
In addition, in February, Ukrainians also bought 4 Bentleys and 3 Maseratis. Speaking about the growth in sales of premium and luxury brands, the picture is as follows:

In total, 5.7 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Ukraine in February, which is 2% worse than last year’s figures for the same period. By the way, for comparison, in 2008, sales of new cars in Ukraine were 50-60 thousand per month, that is, 10 (!) times more than now. 
According to the association ‘Ukrautoprom’, in February 2019, the leader among brands was Renault (728 cars).

It must be said that this winter, ‘europlates’ and benefits for their legalization had a strong influence on the primary car market. As a result, only in the first two months of the current year, 136.5 thousand used cars received initial registration in Ukraine.
Most of them are Renault, Audi, Opel, and Volkswagen.
