In the USA, they managed to start a GMC truck that hadn’t run since 1940. It turned out to be not that difficult.
The 1929 GMC had been abandoned for the last 80 years. Its owner went to the front and died, and the truck became unwanted. It was left to rust in a dump.
For some reason, the GMC wasn’t scrapped and now it caught the interest of bloggers from the YouTube channel Jennings Motor Sports. They replaced the spark plugs, poured in fresh oil, and tidied up the 5.1-liter 92-horsepower straight-six a bit. And the engine started, looking very impressive.
