Folk Craftsman Turned ZIL into a Hummer with Carpet in the Interior

Copies of the Hummer are not uncommon, and this refers not only to Chinese clones. Such cars can be found even in the Carpathians. Recently, another such vehicle has been revealed. Folk craftsman turned ZIL into a Hummer with carpet in the interior

The homemade Hummer was built over three years by a resident of Tatarstan, Rafik Khadive, as reported by Autocenter. He named his SUV SABA.

The body was created entirely from scratch out of sheet metal and is original.

Inside, there’s a wide central tunnel similar to a Hummer. Four individual seats are installed, and carpet is used in the finishing.

The engine was borrowed from ZIL-130: this six-liter 150-horsepower V8 allows it to reach 80 km/h. Interestingly, the gear shift pattern is inverted.

As for the wide tires, they were taken from a combine.
