One of the main reasons for developing the new generation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class was the low safety level of its predecessor. This is not surprising, as the first G-Class was introduced back in 1979. The new Mercedes G-Class, of course, meets all the latest safety standards, and this has now been proven. In the EuroNCAP crash test, the G-Class received the maximum 5 stars. The SUV’s result is a score of 90% for adult protection and 83% for children.
The pedestrian safety score is 78%, and for electronic safety systems, the 2019 G-Class received 72%.
