Lamborghini’s Wild Approach
If there is a supercar manufacturer that has never been shy about showing its wild nature, it is undoubtedly Lamborghini. The Italian brand has long delighted its wealthy clients with special creations, such as the recent Fenomeno, and has no plans to slow down. More surprises are already shaping up in the main lineup, including the Urus, Temerario, and Revuelto.
Future Strategy
Federico Foschini, Lamborghini’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, shared insights into the company’s future. He pointed to the success of models like the racing Huracan STO and the raised Huracan Sterrato, describing them as “huge opportunities” for the brand. Their warm reception has prompted Lamborghini to consider even more radical interpretations of future models.
I believe we haven’t even fully utilized the Sterrato’s potential, because with this model, you can do many interesting things. And I am sure that in the future, we will definitely offer such an opportunity at some point.
Radical Development Directions
Foschini added that the market exists, and Lamborghini’s task is to “realize” another project in the Sterrato style. Importantly, the goal is not a simple update, but the ability to surprise fans with something unexpected. This approach suggests that the Sterrato concept could extend not only to the new Temerario, which replaces the Huracan, but also to the flagship Revuelto.

Revuelto Sterrato Concept
A speculative image of a future Revuelto Sterrato gives an idea of what such a supercar might look like. Protective cladding wraps around the bumpers, sills, and fenders, and additional LED lights illuminate the front. Roof rails, a roof air intake, increased ground clearance, and alloy wheels borrowed from the Urus complete the transformation.
Technical Features
The Revuelto is equipped with a hybrid powertrain combining a naturally aspirated V12 engine with three electric motors for a combined output of 1,001 hp. A raised variant in the Sterrato style would hardly need more power, but Lamborghini could develop a more powerful version in the spirit of the Aventador SVJ. Such a version would likely feature sharper aerodynamics along with chassis updates and performance enhancements.
Plans for Other Models
The Revuelto is not Lamborghini’s only candidate for special treatment. Foschini confirmed that the brand is “always looking for crazy ideas in all directions,” mentioning the Urus ST-X race car as proof that wild ideas can make it to series production. This could signal even more extreme versions of the Lamborghini SUV in the future.
Temerario’s Future
As for the Temerario, reports have emerged about a more powerful version that could generate over 1,000 horsepower from an updated V8 hybrid powertrain. At the same time, its lineup could expand with the addition of a base rear-wheel-drive version, equipped with a reduced-output hybrid system.
Brand Development Strategy
Finally, beyond introducing more derivative models, as Porsche does, Lamborghini is betting on the expanded customization services of its Ad Personam department to increase profitability without harming exclusivity.
The popularity of models like the Huracan Sterrato demonstrates that even in the supercar segment, there is demand for more versatile and unusual solutions. The success of these projects opens up new opportunities for the brand, allowing it to experiment with concepts previously considered marginal. This trend could significantly expand Lamborghini’s audience, attracting buyers who seek not only high performance but also a unique ownership experience.
