Even Mercedes doesn’t want the C63, so there are crazy discounts in the UK

Mercedes-AMG lowers prices for the C63 S

The hybrid version of the C63 S did not gain as much popularity as expected. Instead, the BMW M3, which retained the classic approach to sports sedans, captured the attention of car enthusiasts. However, for those still interested in this car, now might be the perfect time to buy.

In the UK, dealers are offering discounts of around £9,500, which is approximately 10% off the original price. For example, the Night Edition Premium Plus version, which originally cost £99,595, is now available for £90,095. Additionally, buyers receive two free service appointments worth £840.

The popularity of the four-cylinder version of the C63 S turned out to be much lower than expected. There is information that Mercedes plans to replace this engine with a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with twin turbos.

Despite not being a V8 like in previous generations, the new engine could become a worthy alternative if it manages to achieve performance levels similar to the BMW M3. Thanks to the discounts, the C63 S is now significantly more affordable than its main competitor, making it a more attractive option for those looking for a powerful sedan.

These changes in pricing policy may indicate that the manufacturer is trying to boost demand for a model that did not meet expectations. The future update with a six-cylinder engine could reignite interest in the C63 S, especially among brand enthusiasts who were skeptical about the hybrid four-cylinder version.
