by In May, 33.2 thousand used cars were registered for the first time in Ukraine. According to the association “Ukravtoprom”, this is 8% more than a year earlier and four times more than the number of new cars in May.
Used cars occupy 80% of the market in Ukraine, and this proportion has not changed for several years. Also, for a long time, the most popular brand among used cars has been Volkswagen – 5.6 thousand German cars were registered in May.
Ford takes second place (3.2 thousand cars), and third place goes to Renault (3 thousand). The TOP-5 also includes Skoda (2.6 thousand) and Hyundai (1.9 thousand). The most popular used model in May is the Renault Megane (2205 cars).
In total, over the five months of 2021, 159.6 thousand used cars were registered. This is immediately 45% more than in the same period last year.
