by The city of Khmelnytskyi is widely known for its market (colloquially – flea market), which has been feeding many residents since the 1990s. There are neither too many nor too few of them here. The population of Khmelnytskyi is just over a quarter of a million people, some of whom live not worse than in Kyiv and not worse than in Milan.
Long ago, before the infamous events in Donbas, we published photos and videos of Donetsk’s supercars. It was then customary to joke that Donbas didn’t deal in junk, and indeed, the number of expensive and collectible cars here was through the roof, just like the number of supercars with Donetsk plates in Kyiv. Traditionally, the showy city has always been (and is) Odesa, whose residents are not shy to dash around in bright and very expensive Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Rolls-Royces, and so on. Of course, in the list of leaders (in terms of the number of posh cars), there have always been Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Lviv (especially recently).
However, apart from the million-plus cities where supercars are never too few, we also have relatively small towns where you can find such cars that you wouldn’t expect to see here. And if this used to be an exception to the rule, over the past few years the number of supercars in district centers has significantly increased, as well as the “quality” of the cars themselves.
We have already talked about Rivne’s supercars, where for some everything is going evenly. Now let’s talk about Khmelnytskyi. More than 10 years ago, from time to time, you could spot a Bentley in Khmelnytskyi and even a rarity like a handmade Morgan. By the way, at that time TopJyr already existed and wrote that some of the most expensive cars of Khmelnytskyi belonged to the owners of the “Ajour” factory (lingerie and so on). It was easy to determine – their cars had personalized “Ajour” plates.
And in 2016 Khmelnytskyi gained fame for perhaps the most luxurious police car in Ukraine. Yes, yes, this is a Mercedes CL Brabus!
