Non-standard Nissan 350Z with the face of a Toyota GT 86
An unusual Nissan 350Z has appeared at an auction in Japan, attracting attention with its radical exterior. The car received a complete front-end restyling in the style of a Toyota GT 86, including the headlights, bumper, and radiator grille. Additionally, the car is equipped with wide fenders which, together with the color scheme, create a dramatic effect.
The owner did not limit themselves to just the front end – the car also received bright red splitters, side skirts, and a massive rear spoiler. The body color is metallic purple, which contrasts with the red elements. The interior has been redesigned: carbon seats with red leather have been installed, which also covers the door panels and the dashboard.
The starting price at the auction is about $4,700, and the car’s mileage is 67,000 miles.
Technical features and reaction
The car’s suspension has been modified – an adjustable clearance system has been installed, and air tanks are placed in the trunk. However, not all solutions look harmonious: the red wheels and bronze brake calipers raise doubts about the stylistic choice.
Such tuning evokes an ambiguous reaction. For some, it is a bold experiment; for others, it is an unnecessary interference with the classic design. Regardless of opinions, this 350Z will definitely not go unnoticed on the road. It is worth noting that the original Nissan 350Z is considered one of the best sports cars of its time, and such modifications can either increase or decrease its collector value.
