The company Taubenreuther from Kulmbach (Germany) made a deep off-road tuning of the Duster. It must be said that this budget crossover can pleasantly surprise with its off-road capabilities even without modifications, but the Germans turned the Duster into a real off-road monster.

Off-road tuning specialists based their work on the Duster pickup (Renault, in Europe – Dacia). The first thing the tuners did was install new springs and Koni adjustable shock absorbers. This allowed an increase in ground clearance by 30 mm and made the car more comfortable on rough terrain.

Additionally, “toothed” tires 235/70–16 BF Goodrich were installed, which added another +20 mm of ground clearance. As a result, the Duster became 50 mm taller (ground clearance increased to 260 mm). Naturally, the budget Duster also received reliable underbody protection that guards all components and units.

Additional off-road accessories:
- Warn Axon 55 rope winch with a pulling force of 2.5 tons
- Platform for installing a roof rack or other equipment
- Osram LED “chandelier”
The cost of the equipment and the work performed is not disclosed, but overall, the idea is not bad – to get a maximally efficient off-road vehicle with minimal budget investment.
