A rare supercar, Lamborghini Huracan Performante, was completely burned down in the USA. The limited track coupe was destroyed by fire at a gas station in a matter of minutes. Firefighters arrived quickly, but they could not save the car.
We have already written several times about Lamborghini fires due to technical reasons, but this is not the case. The culprit of the incident is the driver of a Chrysler minivan refueling nearby. He simply forgot to remove the fuel nozzle and took off sharply. The spilled fuel quickly ignited.
In general, the Lamborghini supercar was in the wrong place. Fortunately, there were no injuries. By the way, a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder roadster was also at the gas station nearby, but it was not touched by the fire.
Let’s remind you that the 640-horsepower Lamborghini Huracan Performante became famous last year thanks to the Nürburgring record. The lightweight Lamborghini coupe accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reaches a speed of 325 km/h.
