Stellantis has introduced the new Fiat TRIS electric vehicle – an ultra-light commercial transport designed for last-mile delivery. It has three wheels and is available in three variants: chassis-cab, platform, and pickup. The vehicle is equipped with a 12-horsepower electric motor and a 6.9 kWh battery, providing a range of up to 90 km.
Design and Functionality
The Fiat TRIS is only 3.17 meters long, making it ideal for urban environments. It features a modern design with arrow-shaped LEDs and a two-tone color scheme. The interior is maximally practical: a 5.7-inch digital instrument panel, USB-C port, storage compartments, and a comfortable seat. The absence of doors simplifies quick entry and exit.
“TRIS opens new opportunities for economic development and social integration,” stated Fiat CEO Olivier François.
Technical Specifications
Production of the TRIS is underway in Morocco, where other Stellantis micro-mobiles are also assembled. The price has not yet been announced, but it is expected to be affordable.
