New Ram 1500 RHO Modification Allows You to Customize the Engine Sound to Your Taste

New Exhaust System Options for the Ram 1500 RHO

The Ram 1500 RHO now offers two new three-inch MagnaFlow exhaust systems, available through the Direct Connection accessories program. The more expensive xMOD system includes a unique “furious” mode for an aggressive sound tuning.

Power Through Sound

Despite its utilitarian origins, many pickup truck fans demanded a more aggressive sound, and Ram has responded to these requests, even without a V8 engine under the hood. The 1500 RHO model, equipped with a powerful 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine, has now received two new exhaust systems that give it the deep growl enthusiasts crave.

They may not fully match the loud sound of the supercharged V8 in the TRX, but they bring enough thunder to compete with rivals like the Ford Ranger Raptor.

System Details

The two new exhaust systems are developed jointly by Ram and MagnaFlow. The first system, known as the SPEQ series cat-back, consists of three-inch pipes, an X-pipe, valves, and dual five-inch black chrome tips. It costs $2089 and comes with a two-year warranty.

The second MagnaFlow option, known as the xMOD series cat-back, has six unique sound combinations, from sporty to “furious.” Like the cheaper option, it includes three-inch pipes, an X-pipe, and dual tips, as well as three variable modules to change the tone and two variable mid-pipes. Its price is $3099.

Silence on Demand

Both systems are equipped with MagnaFlow’s No Drone technology, which uses passive noise cancellation to ensure a quiet cabin without annoying resonance. Ram has not announced whether these systems unlock additional engine power, but they obviously add character to the RHO’s sound and give drivers more control over how it is heard on the road.

Our customers said they wanted more character from the Ram 1500 RHO, and we are here to provide it. Performance is not just about horsepower and torque, it’s about the full sensory experience. With our new MagnaFlow exhaust systems, we are handing drivers the volume knob and allowing them to turn it up to the max.

These updates highlight a growing trend in the automotive industry where engine sound is becoming a key element of the emotional driving experience, even for models with smaller engines. Ram continues to adapt to demand by offering personalization that was previously only available for high-performance versions.
