New Ram 1500 RHO Modification Allows Choosing Engine Sound Aggressiveness Level

New Exhaust System Options for the Ram 1500 RHO

Ram has introduced two new MagnaFlow exhaust system options for the 1500 RHO pickup, which allow drivers to customize the vehicle’s sound to their preferences. Both options are available through the Direct Connection accessories program.

Sound as Part of Performance

The Ram 1500 RHO is equipped with a powerful 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging. The new exhaust system adds a low, chesty rumble that enthusiasts love. While it won’t be able to fully replicate the sound of a supercharged V8 like in the TRX model, it sounds convincing enough compared to competitors like the Ford Ranger Raptor.

Technology for Comfort

Both systems are equipped with MagnaFlow’s No Drone technology, which uses passive noise cancellation to prevent harsh resonant noises in the cabin. Although Ram does not claim additional power from these systems, they certainly enhance the emotional experience of driving the vehicle.

Our customers wanted more expressive character from the Ram 1500 RHO, and we are fulfilling their wishes. Performance is not only about power and torque but also about the full sensory experience. With the new MagnaFlow exhaust systems, we are giving drivers a volume knob so they can turn it up to the maximum.

The exhaust systems are co-developed by Ram and MagnaFlow, highlighting the brand’s attention to detail and individual buyer needs. This offering may be particularly attractive to those who value the ability to personalize without interfering with the vehicle’s technical specifications.
