The New Mini Version by Paul Smith Embodies Sophisticated Style

Collaborative Project Between Mini and Paul Smith

The Mini brand, in collaboration with designer Paul Smith, has introduced a new special edition car – the Cooper Paul Smith Edition. This model continues the tradition of previous collaborations and will be available in three body types.

Exterior and Color Solutions

Two exclusive colors are provided for the exterior: Statement Grey and Inspired White. The first is inspired by a shade offered on the 1959 Mini Austin Seven model, while the second is a modern reference to the classic beige color. The traditional Midnight Black Metallic is also available for those who prefer a conservative style.

Color plays a key role in this special edition: mirrors, radiator grille frames, and wheels feature Nottingham Green accents. This color can also be chosen for the contrasting roof.

Design Details

The three-door and five-door models feature the signature stripe on the roof. The rear of the car displays Paul Smith’s signature, along with 18-inch aluminum wheels with black coating. Mini logos are executed in Black Blue color, which harmoniously complements the overall design.

Interior and Features

Drivers are greeted by projection lights that display the word “Hello” on the ground. Door sills are decorated with the inscription “Every day is a new beginning”. The interior features Nightshade Blue sports seats, a combination of Vescin artificial leather and two-tone textile upholstery. The dashboard and door panels have special knitted trim, and the steering wheel features a signature stripe.

Among other details are Paul Smith logos and a stylized hare on the floor mats.

Availability and Technical Specifications

The manufacturer has not provided information about exact release dates or prices, but the special edition will likely be available globally. The model will be offered with electric and internal combustion engines, except for JCW versions.

This collaboration highlights the growing interest of automakers in combining technology with art, allowing them to create unique products for enthusiasts. Such projects often become collectible items, combining innovation with aesthetics that reflect the owner’s individuality.
