The first photos of the 2020 Kia Optima have been presented. The new generation of the model goes on sale in December in South Korea (there the sedan is known as K5).
The Kia sedan has grown to 4905 mm in length and 1860 mm in width, and the wheelbase has increased to 2850 mm. Meanwhile, the car has been lowered to 1445 mm.
The new Kia Optima has become a four-door coupe – like the Audi A7, but cheaper.
It has a more sloping roof and increased roof pillar angles. The front part has also become more expressive with curved LED headlights.
The interior shots have not been shown, but based on renders it is known that the 2020 Kia Optima will have a virtual dashboard and an enlarged touchscreen. The engines have not been announced yet, although it is rumored that the sedan will receive a new 2.5-liter 198-horsepower engine from the Hyundai Sonata.
