The head of Tesla reported that the new version of the electric vehicle will receive an improved battery and powertrain. Its range will be a record 630 km according to the most realistic EPA cycle. It also became known that the Long Range Plus variant will be available for the Tesla Model X electric crossover.
It will be able to travel approximately 565 km without recharging. The new Tesla Model S 2020 in the Long Range Plus version will feature aerodynamically optimized 19-inch wheels, and the Model X will get 20-inch wheels.
